Charles Hughes, Rowan Rose and Morgan Hughes are the potters of Hughes Pottery.

I'm Charles, the founder of Hughes Pottery, Rowan Rose is my wife and Morgan Hughes is my son. I'll use this site to give some insight into my life, much of it will be business related, but also some more personal subjects. I look forward to some engaging conversations.

Another stranger the life thing happened to me as well but I ran across some brass bells that Ro would appreciate as they are used for belly dancing! Since I don't know of any other belly dancers I'll hold on to them till I get out that way again!

Got a question for you if your aware of the subject! How hot does the kiln have to be to melt silver plated stuff to get seperation? My main question would be, does it seperate or is there someting that has to be added in order to get the silver from the stainless steel which it is mostly? Very interesting huh! My brother has a whole lot of silver plated and wonders if it can be done.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving down there in Toms River.!!!
